01Who we are
Udruga Za Promicanje Zdravog Življenja Biti Fit ("the Association", "we") is a registered non-profit association in Croatia, OIB 74284818910, with an administrative office at Kirstintasku 3, 20200 Turku, Finland. We act as the data controller for personal data processed through this website and our programme activities.
02What data we collect
We collect only the data you choose to give us: your name, email address, subject and message when you use our contact form; your name and contact details when you register for an activity or volunteer; and basic, aggregated technical information such as browser type and pages visited.
03Why we process it
We process personal data to answer enquiries, administer membership and volunteering, organise programme activities and events, meet statutory reporting duties as a non-profit, and — only with your explicit consent — to send occasional programme updates.
04Legal basis
Depending on the case, our legal basis under the GDPR is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)), performance of a membership or participation agreement (Art. 6(1)(b)), compliance with a legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c)), or our legitimate interest in operating the Association (Art. 6(1)(f)).
05Sharing and transfers
We do not sell personal data. Data may be shared with service providers who host our website or email, and with public authorities where required by law. Any transfer outside the European Economic Area is made only under safeguards permitted by the GDPR.
06Retention
Enquiry correspondence is retained for up to 24 months. Membership, participation and accounting records are retained for the periods required by Croatian non-profit and accounting legislation.
07Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to the processing of your personal data, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. Requests can be sent to info@healthylivingcroatia.org. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Croatian Personal Data Protection Agency (AZOP).
08Cookies
This website uses only strictly necessary storage required for the language preference you select. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.
09Children
Programmes for minors require the consent of a parent or legal guardian, and we collect only the data necessary for safe participation.
